Console commands
Commands and variables the plugin registers with the console. Help is the text the source gives each one.
| Name | Kind | Default | Help |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crushform. | Variable | 1 | Crushform: frames a heavy collision build may run off the game thread before it must be on the body, 0 or 1. 0 builds it in the frame of the hit; a value above 1 reads as 1. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 1 | Crushform: whether collision follows dents in this project. 0: every vehicle keeps its authored collision and dents are only drawn. Read when a vehicle's play begins. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | Draws the damage lattice nodes that move a body's meshes, and the beams between them: 0 off, 1 the damaged ones, 2 all of them. Recent hits show as blue spheres with a normal arrow. Toggle it off and on to rebuild the cached node masks. | |
| Crushform. | Command | Hits a damageable actor up to 100 m away: the one under the crosshair, or the one whose name contains the second argument. Arguments: the hit's speed change in m/s (default 10), then optionally a name. | |
| Crushform. | Command | Toggles the Crushform debug mode: a free camera and a menu of tools that dent, dirty, wash, repair and reset bodies and props. | |
| Crushform. | Variable | 1 | Whether the server runs Crushform debug tools for remote clients (1) or only for its own local player (0). |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0.0f | Crushform: how far from the camera dents and scratches are drawn, in cm. 0: no limit. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0 | Crushform: how many bodies draw dents and scratches, the nearest first. 0: no limit. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0.0f | Crushform: how far from the camera dirt is drawn, in cm. 0: no limit. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0 | Crushform: how many bodies draw dirt, the nearest first. 0: no limit. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 512 | Crushform: most shards of broken panes alive at once. 0: no cap. Past the cap the oldest broken panes' shards are released first, and one pane's own shards are cut to the cap. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 1.0f | Crushform: share of a broken pane's shards that are thrown, from 0 to 1; 0 throws none. Values outside that range are clamped. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 1 | Crushform: shard systems of broken panes started in one frame. The rest start on the next frames, in order. 0: no limit. |
| crushform. | Variable | 0 | 1 = log every hit an impact feedback component judges: who hit it, the impulse against the support it subtracts, the intensity (negative = below the minimum, silent) and the point, and draw that point in the world for a few seconds with an arrow along the impact normal: green played (the effect spawns there), yellow a steady contact, red below the minimum. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 2 | Crushform: sounds started in one frame; the rest wait, strongest first, for later frames. 0: no cap. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Impact Feedback; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0.15f | Crushform: how long a sound over the frame's cap may wait; past it, it is dropped. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Impact Feedback; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Command | Rebuilds MF_CF_Paint and MF_CF_DirtAmount with the dirt layer order of the project settings (Dirt Layer Order, a dirt channel's Blend and Z Order) and recompiles the materials that use them. The functions are left unsaved. | |
| Crushform. | Command | Rebuilds the plugin's material functions that bake the Custom Data Offsets (Custom Data Offset, Wheel, Tire and Glass Custom Data Offset) with the values of the project settings and recompiles the materials that use them. The functions are left unsaved. | |
| Crushform. | Command | Straightens every damageable actor this machine holds the damage of. Run it on the server to repair them for every player. | |
| Crushform. | Command | Applies the look settings (Body Dirt Look, Wheel Dirt Look, Glass Crack Look) to every saved material of the project that calls a Crushform dirt or glass function. The materials are recompiled and left unsaved. | |
| Crushform. | Variable | Draws the collision every damageable body has now, as wireframes: magenta the shapes of its root's bodies, the blocks that follow the dents included, white those of its loose hinged parts. The engine's show collision draws the shapes as authored, which a dent never changes. 0 off, 1 on. | |
| Crushform. | Variable | Draws the stiffness zones of every damageable body as boxes: blue soft, green ordinary, red stiff, labelled with the stiffness multiplier and the depth cap. 0 off, 1 on. | |
| Crushform. | Command | Prints the atlas slots in use and the counters of every damageable actor in this world. | |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0 | Crushform: tire budget debug. 1 = on-screen counts, 2 = also every deformer's rays and each tire's tier. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 1 | Crushform: soft-tire deformation under the wheel budget. 0 = every tire relaxes back to round. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0.15f | Crushform: fraction by which a granted tire's radius, rank and detail boundaries widen, so a tire on a boundary does not flicker in and out. Read within 0 to 0.9. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 1500.0f | Crushform: distance, cm, past which a tire traces a thinner ray fan (detail tier 1). Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 3000.0f | Crushform: distance, cm, past which a tire traces the thinnest fan against simple collision (detail tier 2). Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 30 | Crushform: tires that may deform at once. The local player's own vehicle and everything coupled to it always deform, even past this cap; what is left goes to the nearest other tires, on-screen first. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0.5f | Crushform: seconds since a wheel was last drawn on screen for it to still rank as on-screen. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 4000.0f | Crushform: distance from the camera, cm, within which other vehicles' tires may deform. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Variable | 0.25f | Crushform: seconds between tire budget passes. Set in Project Settings > Plugins > Crushform Tire; this overrides it. |
| Crushform. | Command | Washes the dirt off every damageable actor this machine holds the damage of; the dents stay. Run it on the server to wash them for every player. |
