ICFDeformHost

MODULECrushformINCLUDECFDeformHost.h

Optional policy of the actor that owns a UCFDeformComponent. Without it the component assumes that the authority simulates the body, the owner and actors attached to it are ignored, every report is plausible and every mesh deforms. Every default answers Default (or false, or nothing), which is that hostless behaviour, so a Blueprint that leaves an event unimplemented behaves as if it had no host.

Functions

AUTHORITY · server, every machineLOCAL · this machinePURE · read only
ECFHostAnswer IsCrushformImpactSourceHere() const
PURE

Whether this machine is the one that simulates the owner's body and therefore sees its contacts. Default: the authority.

Category
Crushform
bool ShouldCrushformIgnore(const AActor* Actor) const
PURE

Whether contacts with this actor never deform the owner, decided by what the actor is rather than by a list: a person walking into a car, say. Asked for each contact before GatherCrushformIgnoredActors; the default ignores none.

ECFHostAnswer IsCrushformReportPlausible(const FCFImpactReport& Report) const
PURE

Server only. A last check of a client's impact report after the component's own checks passed. Default: plausible.

Crushform
ECFHostAnswer ShouldCrushformDeform(const UMeshComponent* Mesh) const
PURE

Whether this mesh of the owner deforms. The profile's tags have already let it through. Default: deforms.

Crushform
void GatherCrushformWheelMeshes(TArray<UMeshComponent*>& OutMeshes) const
PURE

Collects the meshes of the wheels, which take every dirt channel from the lattice next to them and never deform: never a mesh ShouldCrushformDeform accepts. Called on every dirt update, so it may return meshes created after BeginPlay.

Crushform
UCFGlassUnitsComponent* GetCrushformGlass() const
PURE

The owner's glass units component, or nullptr for none. Panes (UCFGlassComponent) crack and break only with it.
